How will we receive communication from the league?
Most of our communication with parents and players will be through our website, herosports.org. We will also use email extensively, so it is important that the correct email address is provided at registration. We will also utilize the Remind app for mobile notifications. Please see Casey Jetton to receive instructions on how to be added to the Remind app text messaging system.
How will we know if games are cancelled due to inclement weather?
Generally, we will play games as scheduled. If you have not been notified of cancellations, assume that we will play games as scheduled. If we decide to cancel due to weather concerns, we will make that decision to cancel games by 8:00 am on Saturday morning. Also, we will try to contact the coaches and send out an email to all players, using the addresses provided when you registered.
How do I get information about the league, games, and schedules?
We post information to this website as soon as it is available. Email is our primary method of contact with players. When you register, everyone is asked to provide an email address so that communications can be sent out. If you are not receiving email alerts or notifications, please let us know. We may need to verify the address provided. It is important that you set your email spam filter to accept group emails from our domain (email@example.com). This is usually why people do not receive our emails.
